Transportation to the Event Venue
The city of Zamora offers several transportation options:
- Train: There is a direct AVE high-speed rail line connecting Zamora, Madrid, and A Coruña.
- By road: The A-66 connects Zamora to Benavente to the north, and from there it links to the main northern highways: the A-52 (toward Orense), the A-6 (toward La Coruña), and the A-66 toward the Principality of Asturias; this same A-66 (the Ruta de la Plata highway) connects Zamora with Salamanca, and via the A-11—on the Zamora–Tordesillas section—the highway connects to the A-6, which leads to Madrid, and the A-1, which also connects to the northern part of the Peninsula.
- Parking: There is an underground parking garage across from the University. In addition, there are two or three other parking lots less than a 5-minute walk away. However, walking is recommended.
Transportation in the City
Although both the hotels and the meeting venue will be located within the city center of Zamora, the city offers various public transportation options:
- City buses: connect the city center with the train and bus stations.
